An Intimate Rock ‘n’ Roll Romance in Portugal

Rock and Roll Inspired Wedding
Romance and rock ’n’ roll go together so well, don’t they? Designer Crachá Wedding Agency, photographer Daniela Rodrigues of Meraki Studio, and today’s couple certainly think so (and we agree!). Photographer Daniela wanted to create something different, something that would speak to the edgier couple that digs the rock ’n’ roll vibes, and wants to get married in a unique scenery, yet have something very intimate and romantic.
She shares We wanted something new, something relaxed, and something super COOL. The location we found — Radio, in Oporto, Portugal — is iconic and completely out of the box, there are not many places like it. It was the first court house in Oporto and the original walls and ceilings have been preserved. Today, it’s a bar called Radio which is breaking into the wedding industry!
Let’s get our rock ’n’ roll on and head to Portugal, shall we?

All that drama! We’re completely digging the contrast created with the onyx tablecloth, paired with the creamy plates + candlesticks, along with the black pressed wine glasses.

Amanda tells us, For this shoot,   I wanted to capture a simplistic and natural feel that would mesh well with any wedding décor. Many times, my designs are inspired by a particular fabric, trim or detail and that certain held true here. The yellow floral fabric was taken from a vintage sheet that I had be...

A Rose Gold Glam Dinner Party

Entertaining // April 24, 2017 What’s the only thing better than a dinner party? Oh… just one that’s SUPER PRETTY and 70s-inspired, that’s what! We here at GWS, wholeheartedly believe that dinner parties don’t need to be an occasional thing or happen just to celebrate a significant event. But rather, each + every day with your loved ones is a reason to celebrate, and as dinner parties promote community + relationships, they should happen all the time — right?! Well, that’s exactly what this “Tassels & Tastemakers” dinner party is all about: celebrating friends, creative vendors, and the relationships forged in the wedding industry! We’re totally on board with that. :) To inspire you to host you’re own dinner party, we’re giving you the inside scoop into this year’s 1970s-inspired event, held at HNYPT in Los Angeles, and produced by Be Inspired PR . Well this time around we worked with their team on a new floral print – yep, we LOVE florals for bridesmaids – or any day actually! :) This time we wanted to do something a bit darker (perfect for fall or winter weddings) and we also wanted the dress to pair with some of the most popular hues for weddings right now. The florals on this print are blush + dark pink and the leaves are a perfect gray green color. We’re calling this one our “Wedding Soiree Floral” print and it’s seriously GORGE in person!! The print comes in 3 dress styles (Caitlin, Kendall and Sophia) a...
